The Companies Act 2006 received Royal Assent on 8 November 2006, and has been introduced in a series of stages. 1 October 2009 the final 500 or so sections of the Act were introduced
From May 2010 you may have to pay a penalty if you do not pay the PAYE due each month, on time and in full.
On 1 January 2010 the standard rate of VAT reverts to 17.5%.
